AJ Gold has a spacious state-of-the-art manufacturing facility (refinery) situated at Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh with a licensed refining capacity of 30 MT of Gold Dore and 270 MT of Silver Dore.

At our refinery, we always maintain high standards and procedures in the refining and recovery of metals and thereby deliver products that are the best the industry has to offer. Currently, we import gold dore bars with AU content below 95% as per the norms stipulated by the D.G.F.T, Government of India. The Gold Dore bars are sourced from some of the largest mining companies in the world.

The dore bars are first weighed and melted ensuring the metal is homogenous. A sample is then taken from the molten dore and assayed to determine the content of AU & AG present in the dore bar.

Thereafter, the resultant material is then refined through either electrolytic or chemical or Miller processes to separate impurities and create precious metals of the highest quality (up to Au 99.999 % and / or 99.95%).

During processing we ensure the highest standards of environmental control by treating and purifying all liquids and fumes produced in the refining processes before disposal.

Every bullion bar produced at our refinery is given our stamp and assayed quality along with an assay certificate that guarantees its fineness and content.
